Pen Optimization Guide
Maximize your income with efficient pen management and organization strategies.
Pen Expansion Strategy
Early Game: Expand your pen as soon as it's full. More pets = Faster money accumulation.
Cost Progression: First expansions cost around $100,000. Later ones can go up to $1,000,000 or more.
Mid Game: Expanding to hold 30 pets costs around $1,000,000. Further expansions jump significantly (up to $20,000,000).
Strategy: Don't let your inventory limit your growth. Use your cash to Extend Fence to host dozens of animals.
Organization with Animal Posts
Animal Posts ($10,000): These allow you to tether your best pets to a specific spot.
Efficiency Tip: Tethering your highest-earning pets near the front of your pen makes it faster to collect their money without running all over the enclosure.
Organization: Use posts to organize your pen for easier breeding management and profit collection.
Inventory Control & Filtering
Early Game: Keep your inventory clean. Sell lower-value pets (e.g., those earning less than $10-$20 per second) to make room for rarer finds.
Mid Game: Remove anything earning less than $10-$20 per second (like Alligators or Pigs) to make room for Exclusives and Legendaries.
Late Game: At this stage, delete/sell any pet earning less than $50/sec. Your pen space is precious; don't waste it on common animals.
The "Filter" Strategy: Focus on quality over quantity. Keep only high-earning pets.
Feeding & Leveling Strategy
Focus Feeding: Feed your highest-earning pets (like the $1,000/sec Exclusives) first to maximize your Return on Investment (ROI).
Bulk Buying: Buy food in bulk using the "Buy All" button if available.
Ignore Low-Tier: To progress quickly, don't worry about feeding every low-tier animal. Focus your resources on leveling up the Epics and Legendaries that make the most money.
ROI Consideration: Use the ROI Calculator to determine if leveling up a pet is worth the food cost.
Collection Efficiency
Manual Collection: Regularly walk through your pen to collect the cash generated by your pets.
Collect All Button (100 Robux): Highly recommended QoL upgrade that allows you to collect all cash from your pen with one click instead of walking over every pet. Best investment for endgame players with 30+ pets.
Organization: Tether high-earning pets near the entrance for faster manual collection.
Pen Layout Tips
- Place your highest-earning pets near the front/entrance for easy access
- Use Animal Posts to prevent pets from wandering or glitching out
- Keep breeding pairs close together for easier management
- Avoid the crowd - set up your pen away from players with massive, complex enclosures to minimize lag
- Decoration is primarily for looks - focus on functionality over aesthetics
Income Optimization
Focus on Mutations: A "Gold Albino" common might be worth more than a basic Rare. Always prioritize mutated variants.
Size Matters: "Colossal" or "Large" versions of pets provide significantly higher income. A Colossal Jaguar or Colossal Leopard provides $70/sec compared to standard versions.
The Trait Machine: Sacrifice unwanted pets/cash to add hats or traits (like +20% money) to your top-tier animals.
Compound Income: A larger pen allows you to host dozens of animals, compounding your passive income even if individual pets have low earnings.
